DURBAN, February 01 (Absa Premier League) – Thanda Royal Zulu and Amazulu will have to wait until Wednesday for their Absa Premier League game to happen after Sunday’s match at the at the Mpumalanga Stadium was abandoned due to poor visibility.
Thick fog and heavy mist in Hammersdale forced referee Lwandile Mfiki to call off the match shortly before kick-off with the new date set for Wednesday, February 04.
Match commissioner, Mark Lindon said: “Both coaches were comfortable with the decision and we also had to think about the spectators as visibility was so bad that they could not see the field of play.”
