Thanda Royal Zulu Football Club signs cooperation agreement with Manchester City

Thanda Royal Zulu FC, a South African Premier Soccer League club based in Durban, has commenced a soccer collaboration with English Premier League club, Manchester City. ”We are proud to have signed a cooperation agreement with one of the world’s best football clubs,” says Thanda Royal Zulu FC’s chairman.

Manchester City’s executive management team is currently ona tour of Asia. It was announced on Wednesday that cooperation agreements have been signed with three clubs, FC Moscow of Russia, China’s Shanghai Shenhua FC and Thanda Royal Zulu FC. ”We are working to develop football in South Africa on many levels,” comments Thanda Royal Zulu FC’s Chairman, Johan Glennmo. “The cooperation
agreement with Manchester City is part of our efforts, and of course we are very proud to be working together with one of the world’s best football clubs.”

Manchester City’s Chief Executive Alistair Mackintosh said: ”This is an extremely exciting time for Manchester City Football Club both on and off the pitch and we are delighted to announce this partnership with Thanda Royal Zulu FC. Like ourselves, Thanda have developed very strong ties within the community they serve and we are looking to develop a programme of activities which reflect this. Joining forces with Thanda enables us to work on a variety of football and commercial initiatives and raises the international profile of Manchester City Football Club.”

Thanda Royal Zulu FC
Thanda Royal Zulu FC is a professional football club in South Africa’s Premier Soccer League (PSL). The club is based in Durban and one of its aims is to develop a sporting and organisational model within South African football. Thanda Royal Zulu FC is also part of a community upliftment program, with one objective being to support and cultivate role models for the youth of KwaZuluNatal.

Manchester City
